Slate Review for UK Production Companies
Bring me your slate. Let's find the strongest bets!
Development money is scarce and every project you carry costs time as well as cash. We test each one against what buyers and platforms are looking for, so you know what to back, what to repackage and what to let go.
What you walk away with
A ranked slate: the projects to back, the ones to repackage and the ones to let go.
Every project tested for buyer need, audience, timing and international legibility.
A clear plan for where your scarce development resource goes next.
A balance of commercial certainty and distinctive authorship that you can defend in the room.
Honest advice on what to pause, so the best work gets properly backed.
The price, plainly:
£850 per day, with a two day minimum, so £1,700 to start. A day covers seven hours of working time with me, including the reading and the preparation. Larger slates and tighter turnarounds are quoted to scope.
Who it is for:
UK production companies and producers with more projects than development money, especially those scaling down and wanting clarity on what buyers want.
How it works
Tell me about your slate and invite me in or send your materials.
We spend the two days reading, testing and working through every project together.
You leave with priorities and a robust plan for the next quarter.
